Just bought the 1-time-purchase because I've greatly appreciated the work you've put into your screen recording kit.
However, I'm unable to use the main feature I was looking forward to within Superlayer: the Calendar widget. Checking any box crashes the app.
I've attached a video of the experience.
I'm also having a similar issue to Issue #28 , but it's also preventing me from clicking anything onscreen for extended periods of time. I'm still able to scroll but right/left clicks seem to be intercepted by SL. Please let me know if filing a separate issue for this would be beneficial for your tracking. 🙏
As mentioned in the title :)
It would be awesome if you can integrate an Omnifocus widget, where you can see your open tasks at a glance
A widget that displays one or more RSS feed — as mentioned here by Alessandro.
Implementing this would be a huge effort, so I'm asking anyone who would like to see this to give this post a thumbs up. 👍
I can add widgets to my second screen — a HD screen attached to my LG Ultrafine 5K, hooked on a mac Mini.
But I can edit/manipulate the widgets on the second screen. I click Edit scene, then as soon as I try to click on the second screen on a widget or anywhere else, the edit mode vanishes and the widgets also disappear. I have to reactivate the edit and stop the edit on the main screen for the widgets to stay visible.
I just recorded a video, including all the steps I can think of for you to maybe understand the issue.
Please tell me what other tests I can perform to help you tackled this bug.

I think it would be so nice if the background material could change to the "light glass" when the macOS's dark mode is off, and do the opposite when macOS's dark mode is on.
Would be useful for Reminders, Calendar, Music, ...
Taking this as an example:
It would be great if we could change the size/font/color of only a specific row, so that I could make it look like this for example:
If this is too much work, then perhaps allow to hide the time from a clock widget, so that we can create two separate widgets (one with time, one with date), and manually place them close to each other :)
Thanks a lot Martin!
Received a request via email if it would be possible to display “Smart Lists” in the Reminders Widget too.
Started researching the issue and now assume that this is not possible at the moment.
Asked for help on StackOverflow: How to access »Smart Lists« from the Reminders app using EventKit
App crashes even when it's the only app open in my computer. The only solution is to relaunch the app and sometimes it crashes again and again. Also the app crashes when I try to modify the calendar widget.

I've just purchased and installed Superlayer. Although CPU and Memory are below 20% load, the app has a prolonged response time for almost any action. Opening settings via the menu bar icon takes a couple of seconds. Removing scenes is impossible; the app freezes and the process must be killed.
I've rebooted once, but the problems persist. I haven't looked more into it since this is a paid product. I can send logs upon request.
This will be powered by WeatherKit and available starting macOS 13.
I would really appreciate that if I can run some code to build my own widgets, or even get a workbench to custom my widget without coding. And fetch my api to show the data would be very useful!
To close the settings menu, I intuitively use cmd+q, which closes the settings but also the Superlayer.
To mitigate this, a warning would help (like in Chrome). Where you have to hold cmd+q to close it eventually.
This would prevent the user from accidentally closing the Superlayer.
Variants:
Hi @martinlexow ,
This is icon found in launchpad:
When the program is not open in the dock, I have the same icon that I find in the launchpad.
When I open the program the icon changes, it takes the one set from the dock in the settings.
When you exit the program the icon changes, it takes the one you see in the launchpad.
When a list contains many reminders, the Reminders tap might take some time to load.
The issue might only occur after right-clicking the "Reminders 1" Widget in the Widgets tab.
Changing the style of the widget or switching from/to the Reminders tab results in a spinning beach ball or the app crashing completely.
Tested with around 300 reminders on M1.
#7 might help with fewer widgets to load, though the issue should still exist with large lists.

Hello it's me again :D
I was thinking it'd be really cool if we could set up widgets to pull their content from online resources such as JSON urls or RSS feeds.
Apologies if this sounds too crazy :D The app is great but it feels all a bit too static when it comes to text/images, and I feel like these improvements would make me a lot happier to spend this kind of money on it :)
Thank you!
Please allow the option to select more calendar at one. At the moment you can only chose between a single one or all. An in my Opinion calendars are one of the most important information on the desk. Thank you
Best Regards
MaK
