lista de patch-uri este corecta ? ... de unde incarci atatea patch-uri cand tu ai doar doua ? ...dsdt-ul unde este ? ... dar tu il incarci ...:))))))

Hello @marianopela, I have tried to fix the trackpad for the whole week, I saw that you have helped some people to solve their prolems with this laptop series, hopefully you can spend a little amount of time to help me with this problem.

My APCI ID from Device Manager: \_SB.PCI0.I2C0.TPD0

At first, I followed the guide right here (voodoo I2C official) to patch Windows and GPI0 enable

when i open IORegExplorer and search for your ACPI ID, it does not show up although I’m pretty sure that my patch is working

I also tried with hot patch but it’s still being the same

I relized that if I install VoodooI2C and VoodooHID kext, IORegistryExplorer showed received TPD0 Device but trackpad not showing in System Preferences. GenI2C fully displayed

I have tried a lot of possible ways:

• Rebuild kextcache before restart
• Following: https://www.penghubingzhou.cn/2019/01/06/VoodooI2C%20DSDT%20Edit/
• Unlock CFG
• Change SMBIOS
• Generation DSDT from GenI2C
• Search error in the forums and github and google
• ...
  But all of it is hopeless

Hi, I have your same model but with the i7-10510U.
I disabled the CFG and set the boot mode to AHCI instead of RST. Are there other BIOS settings to change?
I tried to copy your configuration with both OpenCore and Clover but with both I get a reboot during disk initialization with disk utility.

Your EFi is the furthest I went on trying to install Mac OS X on my ideapad s540-14IWL.
In the beginning VoodooI2C could not load and had a KP. When I did not load it I got ACPI KPs and I am stuck. The main differences between our laptops are: 1. CPU (mine has an 8th gen i5) and 2. GPU, mine has only IGPU. I replaced your VoodooI2C and several other kexts but still have ACPI KPs.
Do you think that you could spare the time to assist me?
