This is a great contribution! Thanks for taking the time to put this together. Because of error messages I received on my machine, I modified the following three files and was able to run successfully per instructions right out of the box:
lift-basics/project/build.properties
sbt version 0.11.2 instead of 0.11.3
lift-basics/project/plugins.sbt
libraryDependencies <+= sbtVersion(v => "com.github.siasia" %% "xsbt-web-plugin" % (v+"-0.2.11"))
originally was 0.2.11.1
lift-basics/src/main/resources/props/default.props
to run this with the H2 default db
