This project is a simple HTML page that allows you to search for GitHub repositories using the GitHub API and display them in an interactive dropdown using the Select2 plugin.

• Search for a term to find repositories on GitHub.
• Display the found repositories in an interactive dropdown list.
• Click on a repository to open it in a new browser tab.

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/repository-name.git

2. Open the index.html file in your web browser.

3. Enter a search term in the search field and wait for the results to populate in the dropdown list.

4. Click on a repository name in the dropdown list to open the corresponding GitHub repository in a new tab.

• index.html: Main HTML page with the search form and repository list.
• static/css/index.css: Custom CSS file for styling.
• static/js/index.js: JavaScript file for handling API integration and event handling.
