Custom items?

Is there a way to create custom items and other level assets or is the game scripted to recognize only empty placeholder item assets from unity? For example, I was thinking of attempting to port items from the old marble blast games like the gravity modifier and duct fan. Is this possible?

Exporting with a MeshTunnelAnimator in preview mode can create large files

If you export a scene that has a MeshTunnelAnimator while previewing the result of the animator via the "Respawn" button in the inspector, the file size of the level can grow considerably, especially if many meshes are spawned and the mesh itself has somewhat complex geometry.

For example, opening the attached file and exporting it straight away produces a 2 KB file. But after selecting the MTA and clicking "Respawn", the file is 196 KB. If you spawn more meshes the file size will grow even larger.

Cannot get DXT1 and DXT5 compression for lightmap and shadowmap textures

I set the settings for the lightmap as recommended in the lightmaps section of the README, but Unity is still giving the texture HDR compression instead of the required DXT5 compression. I get a similar result with the shadowmap - Unity gives it ARBG 16 bit compression instead of the required DXT1. Having these textures in the wrong format is of course preventing the level export.

I am using Unity Personal 2017.4.17f1 LTS.

Lightmap Inspector

Increase Render Distance in-game.

After Scaling things like the SpiralSquareMapped so large in order for it to fit the entire level, It vanishes cause the render distance is too low. To fix this issue I'd like to request that the render distance be turned up so we can use some of these assets that are larger than usual.

Testing level with non-PC version?

Hi,

I bought Marble it up for Switch. Is there a possibility to playtest my own levels without having to buy the game for PC again? I tried playing in the Editor but it doesn't seem to work. All I got when in Play Mode was a preview view of the track.
