wolf-walkthrough's Issues

Update the resource chart to use similar colours to the storage components

The colour scheme in the resource chart is awful. At least if it's going to be garish use colours reflective of the Kontainers:

  • Material Kits are grey with a maroon stripe
  • Specialized Parts are grey with a dark grey stripe
  • Metals are dark grey with a light grey stripe
  • Polymers are orange with a grey stripe
  • Refined Exotics are dark blue with a light grey stripe
  • Alloys are yellow with a pale green stripe
  • Electronics are yellow with a red stripe
  • Prototypes are yellow with a pale blue stripe
  • Robotics are yellow with a cyan stripe
  • Synthetics are yellow with an orange stripe

Some Image links are not images

  • "KSC scene with Transfer Resources interface showing a new transfer of 6 MaterialKits from Grasslands to KSC"
  • "WOLF ES-96 Python in Kerbin orbit with just-launched Kerbin Shipyard in background"

Route Builder Rover spontaneously explodes

Every now and then the Route Builder Rover will spontaneously explode.

I suspect there are clipping issues since the first thing to explode is usually one of the Kontainers colliding with a Nom-O-Matic.

At this point I haven't had the presence of mind to get a copy of the failure summary.

Crew pods wobble when being launched

The various crew pods wobble when being launched. They clip through the cargo bays and cause issues with stability.

Perhaps ensure that all the crew pods have the "top" part autostrut to the heaviest part on the craft. There are a couple of other tweaks too while fiddling with crew pods:

  • Top part autostrut to heaviest part
  • Configure naming to "Crew Pod NN (colour)" at middling priority
  • Make the clap-o-tron the root part

The depot expansion gets pretty low on word count pretty fast

I've got the WOLF Depot Ready Reckoner, but it's not mentioned at all in the text.

A bunch of things to do:

  • Expand on the decisions made while designing the depot expansions
  • Stick to a consistent theme. We suddenly jump from small relatively planned expansions on Minmus to "just throw as many WOLF modules on a lander as will fit" style grab bags for Mun
  • Introduce the Ready Reckoner early and provide the instructions that people will need to apply it to their own game
  • Explain how the entries for subsequent depot expansions will work and that the explanations will stop
