mapbender's Introduction

Mapbender module

DOI Packagist License

This is the Mapbender module, the main-component of the Mapbender application.

This module works like a library and can not run for itself. It has to be integrated in the Mapbender-Starter, which is the starting-environment for building Mapbender. The module is loaded via Composer in the composer.json of Mapbender-Starter.

This Mapbender module contains most functionality of Mapbender itself, from the map to the different searches. These elements are described in the user-documentation.

To build and develop Mapbender itself refer to the Contributing Guide in Mapbender-Starter.

To use Mapbender refer to the user-documentation (Github source).

mapbender's Issues

Update css resets

Currently using normalize.css v1.0.2. It's time for an update? Perhaps > v2.1.2 ?

Breadcrumb

Breadcrumb navigation in the administration.

new element GpsPosition

  • Class: Mapbender\CoreBundle\Element\GpsPosition
  • Configuration: Button configuration
    • autoStart - true/false (default ist false)
    • icon / tooltip / title

Line/Area ruler buggy behavior

As reported by Meine Toonen on mapbender_dev list:

  1. Select Area ruler
  2. Make a polygon and finish by double clicking
  3. Select Line Ruler

The geometry which you can now draw is a polygon. No measurements are given, and you cannot stop the drawing (double clicking doesn't do a thing).

legend enhancements new configuration options

legend element needs more options for configuration:

  • displayType: list # accordion/list type of display, default is list
  • hideEmptyLayer: true # true/false hide when no legend is available, default is true
  • generateGetLegendGraphicUrl: false # true/false generate GetLegendGraphic-Url if the operation GetLegendGraphic is supported, default is false
  • showWmsTitle: true # true/false show WMS title, default is true
  • showLayerTitle: true # true/false show layer title, default is true
  • showGroupedLayerTitle: true # true/false show group title for grouped layers, default is true

"GPS" position window buggy behavior

As reported by Till Adams on mapbender_dev list:

system: mate based on ubuntu 12.04 LTS
browser firefox 19.02

I clicked once on "GPS", then didn't allow access (by closing window using the X on top) and since then popup asking if I want to allow access to my location comes again and again - frequently opened by ghosts hand but definetely opens when I use any other function, e.g. measurement. Same appears sometimes with featureinfo window, but I can't really re-produce this.

featureinfo cannot be deactivated

After you activated featureinfo button in the demo application and clicked in a map featureinfo will be fired as usual. But this event will not be deactivated after that click in the map. (even if you click the featureinfo Button again)

new element overview map

  • with individual layerset
  • define size
  • define position
  • define open / close on load
  • define a fixed map or dynamic overview
