firessb's Issues

Only 1 SSB per Profile can be launched

image

Issue

When attempting to launch an SSB through the FireSSB extension from the desktop, it provides the above error message. It runs as expected when no other Firefox windows are open, or if a different profile is selected to launch the SSB in. However, launching a second SSB in that same profile would trigger the same issue, so currently a different profile would be required for each SSB, whereas we would want to run multiple SSBs in the default profile alongside each other.

Make `-new-window` flag as optional or hide/minify the new window

-new-window flag is not required some platforms like Windows and most of Linux distros however it's needed on some Linux distros like fedora (according to #2).
Making the flag as default is annoying for some users. Since the flag creates a browser window, a browser window will popups and closes itself while another browser window is open.

So make optional the flag or hide the window

Feature Request : Automate creation of Desktop entries

Thank you for developing the extension and making this possible in the first place.

It would be even more amazing if the tool allowed for desktop entries (shortcuts to the SSB) to be created taking the sites favicon as the shortcut icon. Similar to how Chromium PWAs are currently handled.

In the meantime, I'd recommend adding a reference to this in the extension docs (that shows up on Mozilla) so that people know where to find the guide containing the manual instructions <3
