Performance number difference with hdparm
There is a 40% difference between hdparm and throughput utilities.
Do we have a calculation issue?
hdparm execution is close to 500MB/sec:
sudo hdparm -t /dev/sda
/dev/sda:
Timing buffered disk reads: 1474 MB in 3.00 seconds = 490.80 MB/sec
throughput execution moves around 300 MB/sec
