Hi! I have been playing with your code and I am pretty sure I can get your example code to do the packet mangling I need to do. However one thing I need to be able to implement is a timeout and I am wondering if there any sort of regular timer (virtual) interrupt that gets handed into the guest VM in the same way as the console and the ethernet interrupt. I have dug through the original MT patch to openwrt and can't see it obviously - but then again I am not well versed in low level kernel programming.

I actually think this code could be developed into what you obviously had in mind - MT apps. Can you point me at anything that might help with the above problem?
