No IR controls in KSP 1.2.1 about infernalrobotics HOT 7 OPEN

Install the latest beta release. This was a problem when using the previous stable release.

Thank you for your response. But I left KSP for some time to wait for some mods to get updated and now KSP has updated to 1.2.2. I tried the latest maintenance release as the beta as well. I don't see IR controls anywhere. I thought that maybe the IR-Sequencer could cause a problem, so I didn't install it. Until now I had no luck with many releases I tried (maintenance, beta). Here is a list of the mods I am using, in case somebody knows if one of them is conflicting with IR. The parts, I do see them in the VAB/SPH and I can add them, but no controls over them :(.

These are the latest version and support KSP 1.2.2 and installed with ckan.exe on Linux Mint 17.3 64bit.
KSP Logger, Chatterer, Dang it! Continued, EVS, EVA Enhancements Continued, HullcamVDS Cont, Kerbal Alarm Clock, KAS, KIS, Kerbal Joint Reinforcements, kOS, KVV Cont, Module Manager, SXTContinued, Toolbar, Alcubierre Warp Drive, DeepFreeze Cont, Firespitter Core, Firespitter Resources config, KER, USI mods (Konstruction, Core, Malemute Rover, Exploration Pack, FTT, MKS/OKS, Life support, Tools), Asteroid Day, Mechjeb 2, TweakScale, SCANsat, REPOSoftTech-Agencies.

Plus, manual install of Extraplanetary Launchpads (not yet supporting 1.2.2, but it works).

Can you try just Stock+ latest IR (2.0.10) from github. It works for most people.
Also the Toolbar mod does not work for me, so I cannot test it, I only test with stock toolbar.

I tried with the latest (maintenance) release 2.0.10. Stock and IR. No controls. Just to be sure about the folder structure, I only put the MagicSmokeIndustries folder in the GameData folder, correct? And the parts folder within MagicSmokeIndustries folder? I also tried just putting the whole InfernalRobotics-2.0.10, but it's still the same.
For your information, I also have the game on Windows 7 64bit, the issue still applies.

FIXED.
I downloaded the entire source code of IR (latest version) and put the Game Data contents into the Game Data (of KSP). But then I only downloaded the final core and it worked. The IR Sequencer (latest version) works as well. I also installed all the above mentioned mods and they are all working together. It seems that I was doing something wrong with the folders structure. But why wouldn't the Game Data contents from the entire source code work?
