To avoid the need to use cloudfront, one can us a cnamed domain to S3 like cdn.example.com. However when the extension is configured with a name that contains dots, the extension gives an error 'bucket does not exist'.

Merge JavaScript Files are generated in /media. It should be uploaded to CDN in order to work properly.

Rewrite and extend Mage_Adminhtml_Catalog_Product_GalleryController and Mage_Core_Model_File_Uploader to upload images directly to CDN, or another external server where the images will be stored.

Allow merged CSS/JS files to be served from the main domain (store on cache + controller?). This is useful when your media URL isn't in the same domain of the store, causing Javascript to break.

When you save a product, even if you don't changed anything related to images, the resized images are generated again.

Must:

1. Save images only when needed;
2. Add a button to regenerate all cache images for a specific product;
3. Add a button to regenerate all cache images;

Allow to purge URL cache provided by model magefm_cdn/cache.

When clicking Clear Image Cache button on System > Cache Management, it does not delete the cache directory from the S3 bucket.

Allow downloadable files to be saved in S3.

Images removed from media gallery aren't deleted from product. The same applies for their caches.

Allow product custom options to be saved in S3.
