I changed my brand options, deleted old ones and added a fresh list. On the manage manufacturer page, I clicked on import from magento. I verified that the new options have been added to the manufacturer table and that option_id is also correct. The manufacturer field in the products have the new option id.

Using a simple php, I am able to get the products for the manufacturer by loading the manufacturer using the id from the manufacturer table, getting the corresponding option_Id and building that list of products having the option id as manufacturer.

I get the alphabetical list of all brands when I click on the "shop by brand" link correctly but on clicking on the brand link, no product is listed. Similarly, on admin, I don't see any products under products in manage manufacturer.

I think, somehow, the manufacturer id is not correctly passed but I am unable to figure out where to check and what is causing it.

The brand name not displayed on product page.
