Display included PDF

I discovered that PDFs are not displayed aka displayed as broken (see screenshot 1).
I have no Idea what would be the proper approach to it, like if there is an option to "unwrap" them in order to display the slides.
What I tested manually was to:

  • convert the PDF-file online
  • add files to media-folder
  • add image data manually to .json-file (see screenshot 2)

It worked (see screenshot 3). My learnings:

  • I had to keep the "preview:"-attribute even though there is no preview online.
  • Each file needed an unique "id", which has been attributed at the end of the "preview"-string and before the filename in the "src"-string. In this case I took the id from the PDF (56746) and incremented it further (56747,56748 and so on).

Limit image dimensions

There is a vast amount of images included to the documentations. Some times they are filling a hole page or causing awkward page breaks (see screenshot). Is there an option to limit their size by 50-70%? I know it will not work for all cases but might still be more handy ๐Ÿ™ƒ .

My naive approach to adjust the image dimensions via the "width" and "height" attribute in the .json-files of cause did not work out. Fingers crossed there is an option via the mdToPdf library.
