Installation

For best user experience goinit should be installed inside directory from PATH environmental variable.

Using curl:

curl -fLO https://raw.githubusercontent.com/macie/goinit/dev/goinit
chmod +x goinit

or with wget:

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/macie/goinit/dev/goinit
chmod +x goinit

Error when Git or Go are not installed

What happened?
When Git (or Go) is not installed, then goinit writes to stderr messages like ./goinit[9]: git: not found.

How should it be?
Git and Go are not standard Unix tools, so it can be not available on OS. Without them, goinit is unusable.

How to reproduce?

$ PATH= ./goinit
