Cousine font has a nice italic set as well and I do use italics in comments to distinguish them more from the rest of running code. Would there be a chance that you would add italics as well? They may as well be just normal Cousine italics without ligatures as long as they are renamed, so they match the FiraCousine name?

When I open the downloaded file I get an error: The requested file \FiraCousine.ttf is not a valid font file. Same error with the bold version.
I'm on Windows 10.

I just installed Cousine (looks a lot like JetBrains Mono, or maybe other way around) but had no ligatures and that's when I found this repo. I too found FiraCode too curly but gotta love those ligatures. Your font would be so perfect but I can't install it. Any idea what the issue could be?

I really like this font. Is there any way you can make it so that Windows recognizes Fira Cousine as a monospaced font so it can be used in terminals as well (Command Prompt and PowerShell)? Visual Studio also doesn't recognize it as a fixed-width font:
