I've found some services supported by the official (https://www.thc.org/thc-hydra/) thc-hydra, but unsupported by thc-hydra-windows:

• AFP
• Firebird
• NCP
• SAP/R3
• Subversion

Why are these services not supported by thc-hydra-windows?

I always receive this type of issue when i run -m servers.txt
here the entire syntax: hydra -V -l admin -p 123456 -t 4 -w 10 -f -M ips.txt rdp

and this is the error,why?how can i solve this?hydra is not able to run more then 100 servers or what?:

Could you publish the scripts you used to build this repository. This has multiple advantages:

1. People can build it themselves, so they don't have to trust your build
2. If you show your build pipeline, this shows that the binaries relate directly to the thc-hydra source and can therefore be trusted.
3. Others can maintain this repository easily if you decide not to maintain it anymore

I have tried to use the http proxy module through burp but I cant, I tried all the possibilities and I get [ERROR] Unknown service: HYDRA_PROXY

For me I only need for http using burp testing.

Can you please compile with the http module, so we can use it through BURP or a way to configure the http or sock proxy please. I tried with proxifier and I cant manage to do it.
I even tried to compile entire cygwin and again I got errors. Maybe if you can try helping us ( as I have read a lot of comments and other people facing the same error trying to use hydra_proxy and couldnt do it.

Or if you dont wanna share, at least tell me what I did wrong hen compiling, when I use the .exe compiled i get an app crash.

Brute force doesn't start. Hydra show me usage guide over and over again.

Mind if you recompile for the newest version of hydra? Or what tool did you use to compile it? Is it Visual studio community with the C++ extension? Thanks!

I have been trying to open hydra for a while and gone through all the different compatibility versions, i also tried to open it with cmd but when opening with cmd i get this error 2 [main] hydra 1210 cygwin_exception::open_stackdumpfile: Dumping stack trace to hydra.exe.stackdump when i try to run the code on cmd after the application opens and instantly closes again please help

Thank you for your effort for making hydra for windows.
I've downloaded the latest version, extracted the zip, then run the hydra.exe.
I'm using Windows XP SP3 32 bit.
It can not start but gives an error message:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002)"
I've found this error message in event viewer:
"Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.CRT could not be found and Last Error was The referenced assembly is not installed on your system"

The solution:
I had to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package (x86).
At first, I tried the 2005 version from this link:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3387
This did not solve the problem, so I tried to install the 2008 version from this link:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29
After this I can run hydra.exe without any error messages.

Please, consider to mention this prerequisite of thc-hydra-windows.

I came across this repository a week ago, but I didn't use it because of the source code missing. So, I am trying to migrate the THC-Hydra to Windows with my adjustments. I do not want to use all resources that it provides.
In light of that, knowing the Hydra is an open-source, would you mind helping the community providing your source code?

Errors occurred while executing hydra on windows 10 64 bit.

[ERROR] Fork for children failed: Resource temporarily unavailable 8 [main] hydra 76 child_info_fork::abort: D:\Users\...\thc\cyglber-2-4-2.dll: Loaded to different address: parent(0x1A0000) != child(0x1E0000)

Therefore I used another compiled version of cyglber, which fixed the problem in my case.

I tried before opening Hydra to launch cmd.exe
nothing works the hydra window opens and closes suddenly I also try to run it from the cmd by typing "cd" followed by Hydra path then by typing hydra.exe , Hydra opens but cannot enter a command
(the cmd remit "C: \ WINDOWS \ system32>").
Can you explain the process to open Hydra please?

the vc link is not able to open

-l name -P passwordlist -o winnings -V ftp://wedsite/username=^USER^&password=^password^:incorrect

it just redoes 6 times then says 0 valid passwords found even when it's set to only try the correct password
