The GEDKeeper program is for working with personal genealogical databases.

The program is designed with an extremely simple and intuitive interface. It is very easy to install on your computer and provides many features including, but not limited to, the following:

• Full support of the GEDCOM 5.5.1 standard.
• No restrictions on the number of persons and generations.
• Allows pedigree generation.
• Can build several tree species, as well as print and save their images.
• Provides fast navigation, filtering, and searching.
• Able to add multimedia materials.
• An output of geographic data using Google© maps.

The aim of this program is to be a quick and effective means of conducting personal genealogical database development.

To enhance the capabilities of the program it supports scripts using Lua and plug-ins written in .NET.

The latest releases can be downloaded from releases or from the homepage site on GitHub.io. Alternatively, why not try the Sourceforge site (this is very popular).

Программа GEDKeeper предназначена для ведения личной генеалогической базы данных.

Программа разработана так, чтобы интерфейс был максимально простым и интуитивно понятным. Программа очень просто устанавливается на компьютер, полностью поддерживает формат GEDCOM, не имеет ограничений по количеству персон и поколений, позволяет генерировать родословные росписи, строить несколько видов деревьев, а также выводить на печать и сохранять их изображения, обеспечивает быструю навигацию, фильтрацию, поиск и возможности добавления мультимедиа-материалов. Кроме того есть вывод географических данных на карты Google Maps (© Google).

Цель программы - максимально быстрое и эффективное средство ведения личной генеалогической базы данных.

Для расширения возможностей программы поддерживаются скрипты на Lua и плагины.

Новые релизы могут быть загружены на странице releases или на домашней страничке проекта GitHub.io. Альтернативно можно пробовать загрузить на сайте Sourceforge (более популярен).
