[Bug] Wormhole Funnels silently stop working on server restart.

Encountered this today on a modded server I'm running. Forge ver 14.23.5.2847, Prodigy Tech version 1.12.2-1.3.4

Here is a screenshot of my setup:

Not shown: in the back, itemducts connect the cutters to a grinder, which is also receiving heat from a wormhole funnel.
This seemed to work fine, but when I restarted the server today to update the modlist, I found the cutters weren't cutting. After further observation, the wormhole funnels seem to have "forgotten" their position? The texture that shows that they are "connected" to something was still there, so perhaps the linked wormhole funnel isn't being saved properly.

Let me know if you need more information.

Tooltip overlap with JEI installed.

In the Solid Fuel Aeroheater (and perhaps others), hovering your cursor in just the right spot causes both the "Show Recipes" and temperature tooltip to both display.

This is absolutely a nitpick.

[suggestion] refrigerator, freezer

im not entirely sure how the refrigerator would need to work, but maybe it could take heat from below , and give out negative heat above it? or maybe it works normally from bottom to top with hot air, and it chills a block on one of its lateral sides, perhaps that way powering the freezer (and maybe giving more heat above it than it started with, if the freezer also needs positive heat from below)

freezer to get some ways of making snow layers, snowballs , snow blocks , ice and packed ice.

would it be possible for the type of ash we get can be chosen ? i have a couple of kinds of ash and my braziers of hoarding would handle just one type of ash better

[Suggestion] Making the explosion furnace even more fun to automate

I'd like to request a few changes to the explosion furnace. These will make automating it more complex, and way more fun to watch. Alternatively the current furnace could stay, and this could be turned into a higher tier furnace.

  1. Rather than adding gunpowder and sand to the GUI, have the crafting process trigger whenever a block of TNT explodes within 3 blocks of the furnace.

  2. The block is 100% explosion proof

  3. The block is not compatible with hoppers or item pipes. Instead, you must drop items onto it in item entity form. Compatible items will be absorbed if they're in the block space directly above the explosion furnace.

  4. When the product is complete, the output items are dropped from below it in item entity form.

  5. The block no longer responds to a redstone signal. Instead it attempts to craft when it experiences an explosion.

  6. If the block is too far away from the explosion, it will do nothing.

Automating this would be a very unique challenge. If the items aren't dropped correctly, they will be destroyed by the explosion. You also need a collection system of some sort.

As a bonus, multiple explosion furnaces could be powered by a single TNT block, making it cheaper to run. This gives a nice secondary puzzle as players would be encouraged to run as many blocks as possible on a single explosion.

[Feature Request] Active Machines should melt snow around them.

I was playing with this mod in a singleplayer pack of mine, and my base was in a snow biome.
It was snowing, and I was processing ore + making some sticks with the sawmill.

To my surprise, the snow on the top of the sawmill remained there.

I think it would make sense for a machine powered by hot air, that automatically transfers hot air upwards, to melt snow that happens to be on-top of it. Or perhaps, even near it.

[Suggestion] Way to make RF/EU

I'm adoring this mod but the only thing missing is the integration with other mods that could be done immediately by a way of transferring energy, for example, an output of energy from above the battery replenisher or adding the ability to load objects/item in them

  • Make Zorra Leaves that kill a thing become "soul-gorged" or something, need actual soul-gorged to make Zorrasteel or use the Altar
  • Make progression better (probably ask Kat for more details)
  • Rename Wormhole Linker to be less similar to Wormhole Funnel (Soaryn suggestion)

New machines:

  • Cobblestone Generator
  • Granulate/Dust Mixer
  • Centrifuge (dust unmixer)
  • Automatic crafter?
  • Recycler (recover ingots from crafted items, like IE's Arc Furnace)
  • Time Accelerator? (speed up tile entities, blows up if abused)

Crystals:

  • Allow Energion Aeroheater to run on different fuels?
  • More Crystals to grow (Redstone, Glowstone, Inferno?), each with different side effects and growth
  • Crystal Exciter to make crystals grow faster
  • Crystal Meal?
  • Crystal detector to see when a crystal is fully grown (may be laggy if redstone is updated too often?), mostly to allow clean automation of harvesting crystals without brute forcing fuel or using external mods (like Integrated Dynamics or XNet)

Tools:

  • Vortex Pearls and teleporters
  • Zorrasteel Shield
  • Zorrasteel Yoyo
  • More mutated plants (Coelbark, Asidus, Alexandrias)

[Suggestion] Make patchouli a optional dependency

Currently its not possible to run prodigytech without patchouli being installed aswell. Would it be possible to make it a optional dependency?
It would be good for packmakers when they decide to alter a lot of the mods progression by changing or removing recipes. Because if they do that a lot of the information in the guide would be misleading and would confuse the player.

Losing items when pushing into full inventory

Playing Volcano Block which is using version 1.3.2 of Prodigy Tech.

When pulling from a chest and pushing into a machine that processes items one at a time, like a furnace, once the linear extractor fills the machine, the extractor then pulls an ever increasing amount from the chest until the stack is gone. So for each 1 item that the furnace (or other machine) processes, the extractors pulls in the pattern of 1, 2, 4, 8, 32 until a stack is gone from the chest. Then it resets for the next stack.

I have tested this with machines from multiple mods as well as the vanilla furnace and a simple chain of chest -> extractor->chest -> hopper (under) -> chest. The behavior was the same across all test cases. As long as the extractor is trying to push one item at a time into the next inventory to keep it full, it pulls the wrong amounts from source.

This occurs on both servers and single player.

Please let me know if there's anything else I could test that would help.
