Abstract

This is the frontend for the Slingshot Asteroids tests.

This frontend provide an easy to setup frontend managing the creation and a simple lifecycle of a space simulation where Planets compete for ressources, sending miners to different asteroids to gather more minerals than others.

Environment

  • node.js >= v14.15.4

  • npm >= 6.14.11

  • browser: Google Chrome

Usage

Install

In order to make the project work, you'll have to:

  • 1. Dependencies

Install all the libraries required to launch the project. To do so, simply go into the main folder (the one containing the package.json file) and run the following:

$> npm i

  • 2. Launch

    Open directly with a browser

Libraries

For this project we are using the following libraries

vue.js ^2.0.0 Base framework for the application.
element-ui ^2.15.11 Element, a Vue 2.0-based desktop component library for developers, designers and product managers.
socket.io ^3.1.0 Socket.IO enables real-time bidirectional event-based communication.
