A website to find GitHub public repos related to Covid/Corona virus

About project

To face the worldwide Coronavirus crisis, we want to simplify the search for repositories with projects that work in the fight against covid19. In order to join efforts between the contribution of programmers in a more direct and practical way, we provide a search tool that makes it easier to find projects related to combating covid19, allowing people to be more agile to start cooperating in this cause through GitHub.

Sort by number of open issues

Enable more filters if possible

Ideally by tags/labels - things like "good-first-issue" or priority labels etc.

Search Improvements

Add link to info text regarding the rate limit to search github api

Design Improvements

This is an open issue!

Add overall design improvements like:

Create a logo
Fonts
Colors
Sizes

PR's welcome and if valuable even if not merged will be tagged with hacktoberfest-accepted!

Improve pagination

Right know the pagination is a bit sluggish we can improve it by:

Adding smooth scroll
Add a loader or an animated transition between the pages
Improve pagination design

Accessibility issues

Many of the elements are lacking accessibility features like aria labels and roles. Would it be ok if I did some accessibility enhancements on the code?

Add light/dark mode

Toggle can be placed on the navbar
Color Scheme can be improved

Improve SEO and Social sharing

This should come with all information filled, sharing this link on Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and other platforms should provide nice rich text content.

PS - The creation of images might be needed

Bonus point 😄 add tooltip to the logo and open issues fields since they might not be that obvious

Improve README

In the README add in a nice way some more information:

Logo
What this is about (about page for some inspiration)
One image with one card explaining the different components (open issues, stars, language).
Add incentive to star the repo

I am not much of a content writer so feel free to take your own approach.
