Virtual Environment

We strongly recommend to use virtual environments to develop for the Walletify back-end.

Verify your python version (It should be 3.9 or greater):

python --version

Create the environment:

python -m venv walletify-env

Activate it:

source walletify-env/Scripts/activate #Linux
./walletify-env/Scripts/activate.ps1 #PowerShell (Windows)

Finally, install the required modules:

pip install -r requirements.txt

Generate requirements.txt

pip freeze > requirements.txt

Configurate GitHub Actions

We are going to use GitHub actions to easily automate build, tests, and code deployment. As back-end server will be developed with Django, defaultDjango Worfklow is used.

Also, coverage will be measure.

This is the opportunity to initialize the Django Project that we will be developing during the last part of the year.

Add Firebase integration

Users will authenticate with Firebase.
