Installation

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/yourusername/expense-tracker.git
  2. Install dependencies: npm install
  3. Create a .env file and set the MONGODB_URI environment variable to your MongoDB connection string.
  4. Start the application: npm start

Usage

  1. Open a web browser and go to http://localhost:3000
  2. View all expenses by clicking on the home page
  3. Add a new expense by clicking on the "Add New Expense" button and filling out the form
  4. Edit an existing expense by clicking on the "Edit" button next to the expense and updating the form
  5. Delete an existing expense by clicking on the "Delete" button next to the expense
