Bass Cannon: Cogs from Space Hell

This game was created in 48 hours for the 2017 Global Game Jam.

This year’s theme was: "Waves"

Status

This commit has changes made after the completion of the jam. You can checkout the commit from the end of the jam by cloning the repo and running:

Description

Use three different guns to shoot sound waves at different targets. The vases shatter under different frequencies. Game requires Oculus Rift (or other) VR headset and Oculus Touch Controllers, but can also be played with mouse and keyboard.

Controls

VR Controls: Use the Oculus Touch or Vive Motion Controllers triggers to shoot your left and right hand guns. Bring your hands together to use the Red wave gun.

Non-VR Controls: Look with mouse, arrow keys, or Gamepad right stick. Shoot with the left and right mouse buttons. Hold spacebar to use the Red wave gun.

Tech Used

Unreal Engine V4.14.3, the game was written using blueprints and zero lines of code. Used Maya for the models. Used Spacescape for the skybox. Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers.

All files necessary to run the game, as well as all assets, source code and project files created during the GGJ and necessary to rebuild/compile & link the game from scratch must be uploaded as well. Third party tools, libraries, engines and assets that are used for the game, but not created during the GGJ, may be omitted from the GGJ project submission. However, clear instructions must be included on how to purchase or obtain these resources in order to continue development on the game.
