Will sit down with this when I've next got time.

When you click on an image in the popup box tou open the image in a new tab which is nice, but if you click the link to commons you get it in the same tab. It should behave in similar ways, and preferrably open in a new tab, otherwise your search gets lost.

Right now when you only get hits without coordinates you get 0,0 as centerpoint on the map. That is fine, but to make it less confusing, use a zoom level that shows the entire world instead of only the ocean.

It should be possible to select a pin on the map and display the relevant balloon... somehow

If done so, the search result will be possible to spread.

To modify the frontend when selecting a subset of modules the variable supported_types should be included in the call get_availableModules()

If you have zoomed in to the map to an area where there are many objects and you move the cursor to the list to change the highlighted ballon you loose yor zoomlevel. Perhaps that should not happen, just a pan should be performed?

Is it possible to move more info into this list? Right now the list is quite wide but not much information is there. It would be very useful to see the city where the art is but perhaps all info from the popup could fit in? Visually it would look nice if the text were evenly left aligned, even for results with no images. Perhaps add a dummy "missing image" icon to make it clear?

The favicon should have transparent instead of white background.

Instead of the lead text "Type your query" perhaps some examples should be used?

When searching for "Tessinparken" You only get one hit and you miss the one with the text "utanför Tessinparken". The same would go for most streetnames.

I suggest a search for places would be with %searchstring% as default.
