covid-19's Issues

Remove all built output/ from git repository.

This is an epic that will require some retooling to get working. An "autobuild-migration" branch has already been established.

We initially started checking in builds (in the "output/" directory) due to time constraints. It's a huge problem for many reasons, and needs to be removed. Developers should continue to always build and test locally, but releases should be done from within the Dockerfile, not externally and then copied in. Neither build output nor cached files should ever be checked into git.

The main challenge with doing this is the IG publisher's otherworldly inefficiency and release management practices that exceed 2GB of runtime RAM for "Hello, World" and can brake at any time.

Draft PSS for HL7 CIMI.

A Joint Project Plan (JPP) establishing Open Source licensing is already in place with HL7, but this is a precursor to a Project Scope Statement (PSS). The PSS is not immediately urgent, but should be presented to CIMI ASAP to get the long-term process started.

Add injectable analytics to IG build at runtime.

For general web assets we have an organizational Google Analytics account. It would be nice to allow for runtime injection of a GA key. We could also do similarly on the server side with logs, but we don't have that infrastructure established yet.

Add additional licensing statements to IG landing page.

Submitted OBO Carol Macumber of Clinical Architecture and agreed to be Stan:

For any specification that references external terminologies, it’s HL7’s policy to include the following Copyright statement.

"This HL7 specification contains and references intellectual property owned by third parties ("Third Party IP"). Implementers and testers of this specification SHALL abide by the license requirements for each terminology content artifact utilized within a functioning implementation. Terminology licenses SHALL be obtained from the Third Party IP owner for each code system and/or other specified artifact used. It is the sole responsibility of each organization deploying or testing this specification to ensure their implementations comply with licensing requirements of each Third Party IP."

Thanks,
Carol (as vice-chair of HL7 Terminology Authority)

SNOMED International reference sets for COVID-19

Dear All,

SNOMED International are developing a set of resources for COVID-19, and in particular a set of reference sets for use with COVID-19 coded data. Linda Bird [email protected] is in charge of the SNOMED efforts.
Having a quick look at the sets there are significant overlaps and it would seem that coordination between the two efforts would benefit both.

Cheers,
Daniel
