Interested in `recorder` domain in pip

Hello, I am interested in using the recorder domain in pypi. Currently it is occupied by this project but it is in fact empty.
I have an open source project for a recording system that synchronizes audio and video from multiple sources.
https://github.com/AcousticOdometry/VAO-recorder

Therefore I would be interested in fusing my project with this repository, or overwriting python package index with my project.
What do you think?

Thank you for your time,
Andreu
