Following test szenario:

• Mac (10.9.2)
• Firefox (28.0)

I tried to display a normal mp4 video (produced by snagit screencast app). Viewing with firefox under windows works fine but on Mac there's always following error message:
"no video with supported format and mime type found"

I'm not sure if it's really a bug or something else. What could be the problem?
Would be fantastic to get help here... :-) Thanks in advance...

Is it possible to play an audio file not from the beginning but from a certain point (timestamp)?

I would like to be able to integrate subtitles to my videos with the html5video plugin.
Which would allow deaf, hard of hearing and those speaking a different language ...

is it possible?

I had previously installed the html5video plugin using DokuWiki’s Extension Manager. When I upgraded DokuWiki to Hogfather from Greebo, the plugin broke the upgrade. I had to manually delete the plugin’s folder in the /lib/plugin directory. With the plugin deleted I was able to access my site’s admin page again. When I tried to install the Html5video2 plugin using the Extension Manager, it wouldn’t install. I got this error message:

“Error, the requested extension hasn't been installed or updated”

Meanwhile, the original html5video plugin is still listed in the Extension Manager with the UNINSTALL, RE-INSTALL and ENABLE buttons showing. I’m not sure why it’s still there since I manually deleted the plugin. The old plugin also includes this notice:

“URL changed: Download URL has changed since last download. Check if the new URL is valid before updating the extension.
New: https://github.com/Fweeb/dokuwiki_plugin_html5video/archive/master.zip
Old: https://github.com/lisps/html5video/archive/master.zip”

How can I successfully install the html5video2 plugin, since that one is compatible with Hogfather?

When I use an image named jump4.png this extension will try to turn it into a video because it has mp4 in the name. Could you make it detect a dot before extensions?
