Nested {{ }} are stripped incorrectly
$ ./wicli -raw "git (software)" > raw-out
$ ./wicli "git (software)" > default-out
$ diff default-out raw-out|grep "distributed revision control"
Load default configuration from file
A user should be able to specify default configuration - e.g. the preferred language - in ~/.wicli (or whatever the name/location would be) file.
Report missing articles
$ ./wicli "Missing page"
$ ./wicli -raw "Missing page"
<?xml version="1.0"?><api><query><pages><page ns="0" title="Missing page" missing="" /></pages></query></api>
In the first scenario wicli should report missing article to stderr, not just terminate silently
A new option to strip interwiki links
Add an option to output unprocessed content
Would be useful in debugging.
Something like
--raw=false Supresses all post-processing
Follow redirects
E.g.
$ ./wicli "They killed Kenny"
REDIRECT Kenny McCormick#Deaths
It would be nice if wicli followed the redirect automatically.
