Since Google Docs was rebranded to Google Drive and Google Spreadsheets to Google Sheets, I'm wondering if as time goes on if gspreadsheet_fdw will be harder to find as the way people query for it change.

Since the official Google python libraries are so robust, even a more general wrapper exposing more services might be in order.

@lincolnturner kudos on writing a Google Sheets foreign data wrapper in 36 lines of Python. Any chance you'd be able to tackle write support?

If not, I may be able to, but it's unlikely to be "pythonic" as I only dabble in Python from time to time (and it's always a pleasure).

I know this is an older project but I still use it all the time! There still is not many cheap ways to read google sheets in postgres, so I am hoping this project would not become obsolete when Google turns off google sheets API V3. I can see from the migration page https://developers.google.com/sheets/api/guides/migration that the request url will change.
