During the setup phase, the key length can be changed, but it is not explained what it is used for.

Currently the database field for the image (imagepath) is set to 50. This might be in most cases to short. extend it to 500 like the links field.

Send a invitation for the application to friends, guests and other people from backend.

At install wizard, you can set the application url. But it is not a check of a slash at the end.

How to fix it:
Check url and if not a slash at end - add a slash to end of the url.

The difference between the two Frontend Templates need some explanations.
What is the difference between them.

Also, how can one add its own template/edit it?

Is there a way to integrate it into an existing website?

Describe the bug
When trying to install from Release zip, /public/index.php tries to call /../vendor/autoload.php which doesn't exist.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. upload contents of zip to new webspace
2. set root to /public/ via .htaccess rewrite rule
3. open in Browser
4. find following error messages:
   Warning: require([...]/public/../vendor/autoload.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [...]/public/index.php on line 34 Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '[...]/public/../vendor/autoload.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:..') in [...]/public/index.php on line 34

For more functions and a better division of business logic, I think the mvc framework from php-login is a better platform for the application.

Now you can only change the css and images of templates. But you cannot change the html structure of the template.

ich bin über die Geschenkeliste gestolpert und wollte diese installieren. Leider scheine ich irgendwie nicht in der Lage zu sein das Projekt bei mir zu starten. Ich habe eine neue Ubuntu-VM mit PHP 8.1, apache2 und mysql aufgesetzt. Beim Aufruf des public Verzeichnisses habe ich nur eine Seite mit "500
SERVER ERROR".
Hast Du vielleicht einen Tipp für mich?

I installed your Project, and all was fine, but the Site isnt in the Bootstrap look... what have i done wrong?

With ending support for PHP 5.6, giftlist should run on PHP 7.

Some changes are done in https://github.com/fteucher/giftlist/commits/patch-1
Further changes might be required incl. with regard to Install Wizard.
