Project does what the title says: counts stuff on Twitter. Built on Python 2 and Twitter python package. This project is not very feature-filled, but it is a great starting point for using the Twitter API.

Installation

  1. Have Python 2 installed and get the Twitter python package like so:
    	pip install twitter

  2. Make your Twitter account(s) into developers.
  3. Rename user_logins.py.template -> user_logins.py and add login info to it.
  4. Alter parameter first_day in tw_count.py to be the day you want to begin the counts at.
  5. Switch main.py to executable and run it.
