compressedcreativity's Issues

Meshes don't work with Create 0.5.1e 1.19.2

As of Create 0.5.1e on 1.19.2, all of the Industrial Air Blower meshes no longer function, not changing the blower's particles and not appearing as part of the respective blowing recipes in JEI.

1.19.2

Hi,
Could you please port to 1.19.2?
Thanks

[1.20.1 Suggestion] Lower forge requirement to 47.1.3

Many modders have recommended sticking to forge version 47.1.3 as anything greater is supposedly very unstable. Many mods and modpacks have decided to stick to said version of forge for that reason. So I recommend the minimum forge version requirement be lowered to 47.1.3 instead of 47.1.43, nothing seems to break from my own test recompilations of the mod with that version.

Heating Plate

Blaze Burner alternative, uses PNC heat instead of fuel.

Not compatible with Create 0.5.0d

Just making it issue to indicate that it's known.
Hotfix is almost ready, currently facing issue with runClient gradle task not working (which slows down further development)

Air blower can't accept heat except from heatpipes.

I have been playing around with the air blower and I was experimenting with trying to get it to work in 1.20. It seems that the only way that I have found is to use a piece of heat pipe attached to the heat source in order to transmit the heat. Would it be possible to amend this behavior? Eg the blaze burner directly heats the refinery above but needs a piece of heat pipe to transmit into the blower.

Suggestion: Boot upgrades Diving

Diver’s boot from create is useful sometimes, like walking on top of belts without belt moving you, walking underwater.
Just thinking it would be beneficial for pneumatic boots.

Sorry for the lack of details, English isn’t my main language and I can’t think of much to say about it.

[Suggestion] Bridge Pneumatic Craft heat with Create steam engine heat

Hello 😁

My suggestion:
Implement a way for Pneumatic Craft heat to power Create steam engines. They could work only with heat pipes and compressed iron blocks, as to not change normal lava and magma heat behavior when under a boiler.

The heat could be based on the temperature of the connected blocks/pipes themselves. In this implementation, the boilers would consume heat from adjacent blocks, and would have a heat level based on the temperature. So for example, boilers at 1800 degrees C could have a heat level of 6, whereas boilers at 100 degrees C would have a heat level of 1.

Heating could alternatively be based on the number of connected blocks/pipes that are hotter than a certain temperature (like 4 compressed iron blocks that are over 100c could get a heat value of 4, similar to having 4 blaze burners fed with fuel)

Finally, a combination of the implementations could be implemented. For example, a compressed iron block at 100 degrees would have a heat level of 1, but a compressed iron block at 200 degrees could have a heat level of 2.

Uses of the Dense Mesh and the Frozen Mesh

I don't see the reason behind using the dense mesh, as smelting and smoking can be performed without the mesh. I also don't know what the frozen mesh it used for, as I expected it to possibly convert ice or something but nothing happened. It would also make sense to be given the frozen effect when in the frozen fan range, as all of the other fans perform some sort of effect on the player.

Pressure Bearing (Suggestion)

The idea of a pressure bearing is that it would have a pressure input and maybe a rotational one, and then would rotate the block in front of the bearing, with the assumption that it is in the "up" position, to represent the pressure the bearing is at, basically making a big pressure gauge. Ideally it would be a 20 bar imagine and could be set to function as a 10 or 5 bar readout using a wrench. In the comments is a screenshot of the conversation about this topic that was had on the CurseForge page for this mod, and the link to the Redstone Bearing suggestion mentioned in that thread on Create's GitHub page will be linked in the comments when available.

Allow Pneumaticraft Heat to Power Create Boiler

Title is self explanatory. Pneumaticraft heat sources, such as a vortext tube, ought to be able to power a boiler.

Specifically, for every Pneumaticraft heat source, if its temperature is above a certain threshold (e.g. 1200°C), add one heat level. If it's above another (e.g. 3000°C), add two.

Suggestion: Better JEI coverage

Checking Uses for the Air Blowers should bring the player to the same JEI pages as checking uses on the Create Encased Fan.

Similarly, the various meshes should go straight to the appropriate tab.

All of these items could be added to the highlighted area as well so if the player gets to these by checking recipes for an item, they'll see the Compressed Creativity options as well.

Probably wouldn't hurt to add a ponder for the the industrial air blower as well, which covers meshes. I know it seems obvious that they go there, but it's the sort of thing that will trip up less experienced players.
