Another request: increase visibility when new posts arrive. The best solution I can think for this is to enable desktop notifications, and I believe they are available with chrome extension API.
We could also possibly allow the user to enable/disable desktop notifications for the extension.
It has been a long time since I've looked at this thing, but I think a refactor is overdue. There are some anti-patterns to be corrected, and improvements to be made.
Requested feature: Allow the user to optionally set a tag(s) to filter incoming results by. This extension has been gathering dust, so I'm not sure of the level of effort involved, but I think a regex test against the title and body of incoming posts might be sufficient.
