I think we need the server to create the unique identifiers for the notifications.

currently we use UUID().uuidString
... is there any way to not display the image thumbnail in the collapsed alert, since it's so small, and text would probably be more useful to app users - but still show it when the alert is expanded?...
It will return the closest posts within the limit

If they tap ‘ping me next time’, send again with sound/buzz the next time they get near the location, after 24 hours. [App behavior if they tap ‘ping me next time’: alert dismisses and app doesn’t open.]
