There are often directories which are not usefull to watch, like VCS or packages directories. It could be usefull to exclude them, both to make the watch list smaller (and thus the tool more performant) and not reloading when a git commit is made, for example.

From this point, more features may be added, like a default exclusion list containing VCS and packages directories of most languages, and / or an automatic exclusion list (from git excluded files / directories list for example)

At least with go run, processes count keep increasing.

At least on catchable signals

Some development environments may have a need for hooks, for example to run a script before / after building.
