objc-applesandholidays's Issues

Nesting and Filtering Practice

I found the challenges far too advanced. I was not familiar enough with the methods to generate the answers.

The ‘lecture’ was very good, thorough and well-explained. However, there was a gap between the material and the challenges.

After spending several hours trying to resolve the 1st two challenges in this section, I looked at the solutions on github. I was able to resolve the third question (the boolean) myself without resorting to the solutions.

should the fifth and sixth methods be turned into void methods?

the directions are currently unclear about returning the database dictionary argument after modifying it, but this doesn't seem necessary on a conceptual level to accomplish the task. The tests should be able to use the held reference to the database dictionary to verify that it has been altered, they don't need to use the method return like they are now.

apple test

I'd never before seen NSPredicate used on array and had to google how to do it to get to the self syntax. Maybe before this lab, a simpler challenge to expose students to more of these NSPredicate usages/examples?

Split into two labs

The Apples section should be split off into a separate lab about NSPredicate practice. This lab should remain only about nested data structures.
