As part of #5, it seems my refactoring has broken the --open command-line argument.

Use built in unittest module (documentation).

Obviously this should not ever happen.

I have not run into any uncaught Exceptions so far, so this might be needed. Opening as a "just in case" deal.

The same bug from earlier releases is still present... sigh

Bug: Create a new file. Save in a place that requires permission. The program will say the save is successful, but it is not. The file does not get saved, or even created to begin with.
Wait what.
I can see the file in Block's file browser, but I can't see it in regular explorer.exe. I even rebooted
I'm not sure what is going on here.
It doesn't even show up when I enable show hidden file or folders setting.

Half of this (only appearing in Tkinter but not Windows Explorer) is a Tkinter bug, but the first half is on my side.

There is no reason to not include it in this release.

• Save file
• Delete file from where it is saved while still having it open in Blocks.
• Try to save again
• Large error occurs.

I was expecting something save related instead of an error, like creating a new file in the same place with the same name even if the file doesn't exist, like programs normally do.

The character legend button is positioned in a sea of blank area, and the text box is too close to the bottom.

With Python 3.4 and later versions of 3.3,Tkinter now prevents you from saving in an restricted area. Decide then if RunAsAdmin integration should still be required.

I kinda doubt there are any, but check just in case.

The new GUI requires them. Avoid checking them into source control.

It should make mention of creating and opening a level file.

I hate it.
