I used your template for creating an document. Now I have the problem that it is not possible to copy numbers out of the text from the created pdf-file.
I always receive the question-mark-box after copying some numbers inside text.

Numbers I added with the package siunitx are copyable.
I only added this package and changed nothing else.

Hello, I try to compile the samplepaper.tex file in the zip package with \documentclass[citeauthoryear]{llncs}, but it is not working as expected. \cite command only gives pure numbers without brackets rather than author (year). How can I get the author-year citation?

Can I use this template for LNAI?

Since latexmkrc is piping the output to texlogsieve, the generated project doesn't compile with Overleaf on TeXLive 2021.

Same issue with \usepackage{fnpara} and \usepackage{footmisx}.

Other solution:

\usepackage[ruled, para]{manyfoot}

However, \footnote{} cannot be used anymore: Custom commands have to be used.

Thanks for you effects with this tex.

I seem to be loosing italics in my math formula's when using lualatex.
When commenting out \usepackage{fontspec} they return, but I can't use the sharper fonts then.

Is this a know issue? Or some other clashing if packages?

• \citet{x} should be A und B at two authors, not A and B.
• \cref{...} should use German names.

biblatex supports prenote at cite:

\cite[hprenotei][hpostnotei]{hkeyi}

(Section 3.8 at the manual)

natbib also supports that:

\citep[see][]{jon90} ) [see 21]

(page 7 of the manual)

How is this normally fixed?

There is a biblatex LNCS package available at https://github.com/neapel/biblatex-lncs/. Maybe, it is worth switching to it. Possibly, the bibtex support should be kept in a separate branch.

Update 2018-02-02:

• There is some activity on the original repository: https://github.com/gvdgdo/biblatex-lncs
• https://github.com/NorwegianRockCat/biblatex-lncs/ seems to be the fork with the most changes
• A PR of NorwegianRockCat into gvdgo causes conflicts.

Requests are just timing out.

According to https://www.springer.com/gp/authors-editors/conference-proceedings/conference-proceedings-guidelines, the svproc.cls class is the class to use. In the ProSci_TeX.zip, there is an author.tex using svproc.cls.

However, http://www.springer.com/de/it-informatik/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines still links to the llncs.cls. Thus, no switch necessary.

impnattypo is a package for better results at the last line of a paragraph. However, it adds too much white space between the words in a normal paragraph. This should be debugged somehow and a fix provided.
