When a Camera like a DSLR is attached to 10.10 they like to auto open Photos

Just a cosmetic thing, but maybe worth adding:

Launch Terminal, found within /Applications/Utilities, and type the following defaults command string:

defaults write com.apple.finder CreateDesktop -bool false

I know this is a rather open ended question but I'm curious if in your experience it's best to downgrade to a particular OS. Sierra is scaring me (not even an option anymore to open apps from untrusted devs???) so maybe 10.8?

There are some edge-cases, that can prevent a machine from rebooting automatically. Here are two, that i encountered during a recent project when using the "Schedule" option.

1. Review running processes
   
   I have only the german screenshot and couldn't find the English translation. In my case, this message appeared, as i had a simple bash script periodically checking some stuff.

2. "There are currently logged in users who may lose unsaved changes if you restart this computer."
   
   If you use some share (smb/afp) to sync/update files, you have to manually disconnect from the machine, otherwise this message will block the reboot.

This is just a quick draft, so i won't forget to post this here. Will be improved as soon as possible. Support and discussion appreciated!

Late 2016 15" MBP running 10.12 does not have that option visible in the Energy Saver preference pane.

A section about tweaking CrashReporter to be invisible should be included, prompting brave folk to type defaults write com.apple.CrashReporter DialogType none into the terminal...
