Dependencies: gcc, zlib, gtk+ (2 or 3) The currently supported platforms are: linux and windows (mac is barely supported) Contact me ([email protected]) if you're an experienced Mac c++/c developer and can fix the Mac port. If you're compiling this on anything but Linux you'll probably need to make your own build system, and if you have I would be very happy if you could send it and instructions on how to use it to me. build with: # make <platform> The binaries are located in "bin/<platform>/". # Mac Build Install dependencies through [Homebrew](http://brew.sh) using the following command: ``` brew install gtk pkg-config ```
You can reproduce this by first generating a palette, then exporting that image as a .png (File->Export Image). The bug seems to happen when you then try to open that .png afterwards. The bug only affects certain colors, this might vary between computer if it's a memory corruption.
The first image is when you export it the first time, and the second is when you export it after opening the first in ITM.
There are some problems with gtk2 on both linux and windows. No scrollbar is showing an shadows are nonexistant. This should be a high priority. Last thing left for 1.3 release.
I have to admit, I'm getting a bit frustrated here: This bloody thing just doesn't work. I tried downloading it and pulling out of the tarball, and it didn't work. I tried configuring, running, making, etc, etc, but no dice. Next, therefore, I downloaded the source files, from here, and tried to run 'make linux'. After installing the relevant dependencies, I made some progress, but now I've hit a wall my technical savvy and google-fu really can't surmount: this just isn't compiling properly. Every time I attempt to make it, I get a stream of 900-odd errors complaining about 'undefined reference to' and then all of the dependencies. Yet more googling reveals that this means that the code is attempting to build before it's connected to the relevant libraries, but I really don't have the know-how to understand the (undocumented) code, and fix it. Please fix this; it's apparently a fairly common issue for programs on various versions on Ubuntu, but it's still very irritating.
