My "Content Blocking" configuration:
My configuration for WebUI qBittorrent:
But your extension insists on saying it can't find the credentials (the access to the webUI is passwordless):
The cookies configuration in last Firefox versions is more complex than explained in current README.md.
Why is access to that cookie necessary if access to the webUI is without a password? Couldn't the webUI user/password fields be added to the extension configuration to avoid this?
I've tried disabling all the cookie security options but it still gives the error "WebUI reply: Unauthorized". This was working so I'm guessing a recent firefox update broke things?
I've found another addon which does work (Torrent Control) but the options and label handling aren't nearly as good :(
I set up my web ui and added my Let's Encrypt wildcard certificate to it.
All I get is XMLHttpRequest error orccured.
If you want to test it yourself, here's the url:
qBittorrent v4.0.3 Web UI
The settings I used are the following:
Profile: Default
qBittorrent address: https://pi.btr.zone:8080/
You also said you never tried public web ui stuff, so if you need access, message me privately please.
Edit: I should probably note, that this is running on a Banana Pi and I'm currently seeding stuff so maybe it was a timeout?
Hi!
When adding magnet link i get 403 error.
Looking at the code in background.js i'm thinking cookies are taken from wrong page. Perhaps "browser.cookies.getAll({url: tabUrl}).then(cookies => {" should instead be "browser.cookies.getAll({url: qbtUrl}).then(cookies => {"?
It'd be nice to have a submenu to context menu where you could choose from a few predetermined paths to save the torrent to. I have a few different paths that I often save my torrents so it's a bit irritating that I can use this addon only to save one of them.
I got firefox and added an extension, 'Add Link to qBittorrent WebUI.' When I right click on a torrent link to try to download a torrent, I get this error:... How do I fix this???

I have several profiles created: "movies", "series", "anime",... associated to the categories in qBittorrent with the same names.
The name "Default" doesn't tell me anything. Which category do I associate it to? Which category should I define as default?
Not being able to hide it from the submenu is an option, for me, useless that only hinders the use of it. Because it's always on top of the profiles I do use and have created.
So I think this profile (Default) should be able to be hidden or renamed.
In order to hide it you should check if there is an additional profile to it and, if so, enable this option.
To allow renaming the reference to it within the code must change.
After adding a torrent/magnet to qBt there is a toast notification in the bottom right corner - I'd like to disable that.
API seemed to have changed a bit with the new beta. Whenever I try to add a new torrent I get an error Unacceptable file type, only regular file is allowed
.
Today I have installed qBittorrent-nox
and this extension in Firefox. Both works great. But I miss a feature in this extension: an icon in toolbar to open the webUI.
I think it is easy to add this to extension and everyone can choose whether or not to put it and where to put it (in the overflow menu or in the toolbar).
Thanks for your work. π
Hey, i'm using Firefox Multi-Account Containers which let's you separate your browsing for more privacy.
add link to qbittorrent web ui seems to work only in the default container which causes a bug (some might call it a feature) when trying to add a torrent from another container.
As Firefox containers seems to be more and more widely used it might be nice to make add link to qbittorrent web ui work from any container.
Thanks
Hello, using this extension has been great. but recently since Qbittorrent updated I am unable to add magnet/torrent links from the right-click context menu. A pop-up appears saying 404 Not Found.
Any solutions besides downgrading qBit? I upgraded out of necessity for some trackers.
