Windows 10 x64. Reinstall included Visual c++ 2015, didn't help. I used to play with this on the same hardware like 4 months ago. Tried different versions up to 0.3.8.0

EDIT: turning off antivirus (avast) solved the problem

Is there anyone with in-depth knowledge about the notifier and its capabilities?
If so I'd like to write a proper documentation for the help window as the current one is lackluster to put it mildly.

I updated to 3.11.2. When I hover over an item and hit the key, I still get the message to "Hover cursor over an item first" and nothing gets copied.

ENERGY FACTOR & ENERGY BONUS DAMAGE CHANGES

We have changed how Energy and Strength factors convert into a spell damage bonus. The problems with the old system were that: 1) these factors were completely useless until late game; 2) the formula was needlessly obscure and complicated; and 3) gaining small factor increments would have no visible change to your damage

To fix these issues we have made the following changes:
Energy and Strength Factor damage bonus is now no longer related to your total Energy and Strength attributes
Energy and Strength factor have been renamed to SPELL FOCUS
The new Spell Focus damage bonus formula is: % Damage bonus = Spell Focus / 10 capping at 100%.
So every 10 points of Spell Focus will increase your total spell damage by 1%
Now Spell Focus will grant significant damage bonuses for early & mid game characters, while actually having a reachable cap in the endgame
We have also made changes to how the total spell damage bonus scales with Energy:
The issue with the old formula was that, ignoring Energy Factor, it would reach heavily diminishing returns very quickly
Now with Spell Focus no longer tied to an attribute we wanted to provide more damage scaling from Energy into the late game
For example, with the old formula at 1000 Energy you would already have gained 80% of the total damage bonus. Now to reach this point you will need 2000 Energy

Inputting non-latin string in the notifier works correctly - I'm notified of respective items. But after restarting the program such string becomes ????? (non-latin characters replaced with ?).

Tested with Russian string and under wine on macOS.

Mercenary Resists are bugged so D2Stats helps us get the real resist value.

Problem:
Several distributions of Linux will not play mp3-files when running AutoIt under Wine.

Solution:
Change sound format to wav-files.

I am trying to run the program (version 3.11.0) in Ubuntu 18.04 with wine 4.0.2
The application starts well but when run diablo 2 it say "Failed too many times in a row".
The log are:
[UpdateHandle] Couldn't open Diablo II memory handle. (error: 3; extended: 0)

First question: is it possible to run the windows version of D2Stats with wine? What libraries should I install?
Second question: is it possible for a non-developer person like me to compile a version for ubuntu from your tar.gz source code?

When using with Median XL 2.0 Copy item text does not work and displays "Hover over item first" when used.

Would be a great gateway into other tools for tracking drop rates, holy grail tracker, etc...

When downloaded, the .rar file (and/or the extracted folder) are identified as viruses by Chrome and Wandows Defender (Wandows 10, up to date at time of posting).

Defender identifies the file as Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml

Recommendation: create a pinned issue detailing this and options the user has. (I assume it is a heuristic identifying the memory snooping as malware, and not malware.)

version D2Stats-3.11.1 works well
but D2Stats-3.11.3 stop working

I need help to get the drop sounds from D2stats to work. I'm running D2/Median Launcher/D2stats as admin, I'v put all the sliders to max(right side), I have sound turned on in game, I have the sound folder in my D2stats map with 6 different sound-files, I'v tried to add "Apple" sound1 (even sound 2,3,4,5,6) but nothing sounds, I dont get any sound when I press the Test button in the sounds tab either(on D2stats). Any other suggestions ?

I just tried to update my sound drivers and nvidia drivers for gpu but that didnt helped me either.
