mmdevice audio output error

Recently when running the SiezurePlayback.exe on a Windows 10 x64 machine it becomes non-responsive then show the following error in a console:
mmdevice audio output error: cannot initialize COM (error 0x80010106)
Any clue what can cause such an error?
