This is a Python port of the Android Market API Java Project
Linux:
- aptitude install libprotobuf-dev
- wget http://protobuf.googlecode.com/files/protobuf-2.4.1.tar.bz2 && tar -jxf protobuf-2.4.1.tar.bz2
- cd protobuf-2.4.1/python/
- sudo python setup.py build
- If no errors in step 4: sudo python setup.py install
Mac OS:
- Install homebrew: http://mxcl.github.com/homebrew/
- brew install protobuf
- curl -o protobuf-2.4.1.tar.bz2 http://protobuf.googlecode.com/files/protobuf-2.4.1.tar.bz2 && tar -jxf protobuf-2.4.1.tar.bz2
- sudo python setup.py build
- If no errors in step 4: sudo python setup.py install
Begin by starting a new session and entering your google credentials.
