ovr-lighthouse-manager's Issues

I don't understand how will be program is work

I tried it, and I don't really understand whether steamvr should launch this program, or should I manually do it in advance? If the program window is not open, starting and stopping steamvr does not stop or start base stations. If the window is open, yes, the stations turn on and off... But why this automation if you still need to launch the program in advance?
Is it possible to make a windows service that will hang in the background and do the same job? Or minimize the program to the tray so that we can just install it into startup and it will actually work automatically?

Distubtuon on Microsoft Store if posible. | 可能であれば、Microsoft Store を通じてアプリを配布してください。

EN: I'm using a translation tool, so what I'm saying may not be correct. I would like "OVR Lighthouse Manager" to be distributed on the Microsoft App Store. The app for "connecting a Kinect sensor for FBT", "Amethyst" already does this. It would allow OVR Lighthouse Manager to auto update and be a easy way to distribute the app. Thank you for the consideration. - Gatorz

Lighthouses not found by scan

Thanks for the app. Glad to see more solutions to this problem.

Win10 x64. Currently app cannot find my three 2.0 lighthouses. Scan shows a spinning icon and then stops with no results.

I have an Asus Dark Hero VII motherboard. Its Bluetooth works with various other devices like keyboards and speakers.

Unless there is a bug, I have three theories.

  • Mobo may not support Bluetooth LE?
  • There is a (very thin) wall between PC's Bluetooth antenna and the lighthouses, maybe that disrupts it?
  • Maybe Steam VR needs to be running during initial setup?

Regarding theory 1, the mobo's specs report the Bluetooth version is v5.1. Do you know if that means it has Bluetooth LE support?

That's all I have to share so far. Thanks again for the application!

[Bug] Rebooting SteamVR too fast might confuse software, leaving base stations off while in SteamVR

My suggestion for this would be to maybe run a cool-down after steamer closes to check to see if it opens again. If it doesn't then shut off the base stations. Under situations where you may need to quickly restart SteamVR (Like pressing the restart steamvr button prompted by SteamVR when changing settings) steamvr will reboot with the base stations off, and they don't seem to turn back on.
