Hi. Could you add support to remove the China region restriction to this tool? I can't access the data the one who create the region patch ,but I have the patched files(ver 32.0).
(His tool is still available(solution is fetched online though) but i can't find a way to contact him for more document.)

First many thanks to KuromeSan for his great FlashPatcher. It allowed me to continue to use a desktop application dependent on Flash after January 12, 2021, namely "HP Solution center" for 10 years old HP Scanjet G2710 Photo Scanner.

However, since installation of Microsoft Update KB4577586 on my computer, the desktop application detects that "the correct version of Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer is not installed" and further requests its installation before exiting.

I tried to install "install_flash_player_ppapi.exe" downloaded from the link provided by KuromeSan, applied FlashPatcher, but when opening Internet explorer, there is no additional module "Flash Player" in the list.

I tried to play with the group policies, as explained at the end of the following link :

but have had no luck to reinstall the additional module "Flash Player" in IE, hence no luck to resurrect my desktop application.

I don't have a restoration point before the KB4577586 update date, so am no longer able to disable it. Any clever idea how to circumvent Microsoft "Flash clean-up" ? The alternative is a suboptimal solution or use my other low resolution scanner.

I tried manually patching Flash, which sort of worked. Newgrounds loads Flash just fine (it's not ruffle, I checked) but every other website either displays nothing in place of the Flash content, or it displays the EOL info button that appears with unpatched flash. I tried looking for an alternate solution and stumbled upon this tool. After finding it, I reinstalled Flash so that my previous failed patch would not interfere, and after patching I was having the same problems.

(edit: Forgot to mention that this was the Firefox version, and that I'm using Waterfox for flash content)

(edit 2: Turns out the reason Newgrounds was the only site working was because the Newgrounds Player edits the Flash config. I can't seem to find a way to make this tweak apply to all sites, though.)

i need explanations for this, i downloaded the file, and 27 engines verified as a trojand and wen i downloaded it windows defender (windows 10) detected as a trojan. I was happy about you made this to help people scape from the flash kill switch, if youre trying to spy, stole information or corrupt people sistem youre a jerk, I WANT THIS TO BE FIXED IN NEW VERSIONS, my pc verified it as a: Trojan:Win32/Ymacco.AA4F and virus total verified and it says 27 ENGINES recognises as a trojan, i downloaded the open source, compiled it, and windows defender didnt verified it as a trojand but virus total did, i order you to remove the malware,i see the otheer trojan issue, and the ´´MSIL Heracles´´ youre talk about IS A VIRUS, remove it. I DEMAND IT

i downloaded all the flash files, installed it and use the flash patchder but is says it not working in windows 10. what do do?

I installed install_flash_player_ppapi and reinst_flash_w10 (tried 2nd option after first wouldn't work), ran the patcher and got rid of the timebombs, then visited http://www.emofaces.com/emoticons/categories/nature-amp-science/science and the flash on the site still wouldn't work. Just says adobe flash player is no longer supported. I use chrome on windows 10. If i need to share any more information on my computer to solve this issue just ask

Hi, I use Opera GX, I wanted flash content back so I got this, I hit "defuse the bomb" and it said "your flash should work again" but I went on a flash test site and it showed the flash EOL, am I just dumb or is it broken? If im just dumb can someone tell me how to make it work on Opera GX?

Hello, I'm having the problem where Windows 10 straight up blocks the execution of the file and removes it automatically:

Is there a way to fix/Bypass this?

Everytime I try to download the file, Google and other websites automatically block it as a virus with it claiming to be this that's severe and the file is automatically deleted as unsafe.

Can you please look into this and have Microsoft not flag this or fix somehow because I only use microsoft's windows security and the problem with websites blocking the download period and unable to install because of this supposing virus that exists.

Wanted to install your 1.7 flash patcher but Norton removed it due to risk: Heur.AdvML.C.
Has a virus got into your exe, or is there another explanation ?

I would like to point out a detail in the functioning of MPCHC (1.9.11 by clsid2) on Win10 with patched flashplayer.

After discovering a few months ago that MPCHC was no longer reading .swf files, I found that using "runasdate" by Nirsoft setting a date before the block (say December 2020), it still worked. I recently realized that this "trick" no longer worked, MPCHC told me it required "flash for internet explorer" if I tried to open an .sfw file.

So I discovered FlashPatcher by KuromeSan (and flashpatch by leecher1337). I recently installed KB5001391, if that has anything to do with it.
I'm sure I was using the 64bit version of MPCHC because I had downloaded the 64bit version of "runasdate".
The fact is that after using FlashPatcher, which seemed to be successful, it still asked me "flash for internet explorer".
So I tried to open IE11 (now it shows the Win10 version in the properties, so mine is 20H2) and I opened a .swf file from the address bar, and it worked, like a couple of randomly opened animations on the internet (always with IE11).

After hitting my head against the wall for a while and checking which files were patched, I thought "doesn't that only work with 32-bit applications?" I installed MPCHC 32bit and it worked.
I would like to know if this is normal and why, and if anyone knows why before the "runasdate" trick worked with the 64bit version.

The binary as provided does not work on Windows XP SP3 within Hyper-V.
