This issue is not reproducible after deleting the condoor cache file and restarting the CSM server. Below are two examples:

Invalid number(-5) sent as ASCII value to command-line process from VTY/TTY, refreshing prompt.

The router console connection is hogged by the CSM server after device inventory retrieval. As a result, the subsequent install action to the device failed (Enclosed).

The way to get out of this error is to shutdown the CSM server.

. Before shutting down the CSM server:

· After shutting down the CSM server:

RP/0/RP0/CPU0:XRv9K#

Steps to produce:

(1) Use CSM to upgrade eXR to version A.
(2) Login to the device and manually upgrade eXR to version B.
(3) Use CSM to retrieve latest inventory. Now the General Software version remains as A while the active software version becomes B.

Connection is successful if the router shows the CLI prompt:

RP/0/RP0/CPU0:XRv9K612#

However, connection is disconnected if the router shows login prompt:

User Access Verification

Username:

Once a while, condoor identifies IOS-XRv (Sunstone) as IOS.

After that, any install action on this router will be hooked up with the wrong plugin manager modules.

Once a while, the condoor.log is missing after the device inventory is successfully retrieved.
