When the AST parser encounters an issue, an error is thrown in the background. It makes more sense for the errors to be presented directly to the user since Blocks are a developer-orientated feature.

Unsure of the intended way to implement colour theming in GitHub Blocks. Currently, I've hard-coded two separate colour themes in the Tailwind configuration and alternate between them using the Tailwind dark- selector.

• Investigate if this is the intended way to handle light/dark mode in GitHub blocks.
• Investigate if defining our own colours is the best solution or if we can inherit the colours directly from GitHub or use GitHub Primer.

It may be beneficial to allow the user to customize the parser options, such as enabling module mode or setting the language to something other than latest.

A useful feature would be to have the original source code displayed side-by-side with the parsed AST. Hovering over entries in the tree should highlight the relevant section of source code (and vice-versa).

What do we use as a code editor? Creating one from scratch seems wasteful. Need to investigate what other blocks are doing to embed code in a reusable way and how we can integrate into that.

Attempting to use this block on a JSX/TSX block does not appear to work. To demonstrate the issue, the following file renders completely blank when used with this Block.
