coronika's Issues

Contact-category instead of exact timestamps

It would be great to be able to select contact categories ("indoor"/"outdoor") and time categories ("less than 15 min"/"more than 15 min") instead of exact timestamps (perhaps user-selectable?).

Make picking the time of a location easier

With the last update (v2.0.0.) you changed the time picker from the clock-like input to a roller-like (I don't know how those are called...).

This is way more inconvenient than the clock input. Please bring it back. It was much faster.

I can only speak for myself, but it makes entering my locations no fun at all anymore and I will likely stop doing it...

Thanks for you consideration.

Support for scanning NFC tags

Note: I can't test the app yet, because it's not on the iOS App Store, so if this functionality is already implemented, you can close the issue again.

Another idea (similar to the QR Code issue) would be Coronika NFC scanning, for example an NFC tag that a user has attached to the phone or phone casing, containing personal info, e.g. a vCard. That way, Coronika users could quickly scan the NFC tag in-app, and add the contact data to the diary.

(However, I don't think that many people use NFC tags in this manner, so this is probably not an important feature request.)

Show indicator if contact has phone number

During the selection of a contact you met, you cannot see if a contact which was imported into coronika gas a phone number attached.
If for some reason you have two entries (e.g. Threema IDs), you cannot see which one has the phone number maintained.
It would be great if the contact list could show if a contact has a phone number

Feature Idea: adding tests to diary

It would be great if users could add test results to the diary. This would quickly answer the question, "When did I do my last test". Maybe the test results can be set to either "PCR" or "Rapid Test."

QR-Code support for quick scan at locations

Note: I can't test the app yet, because it's not on the iOS App Store, so if this functionality is already implemented, you can close the issue again.

This is similar to one of the functionalities of the New Zealand contact tracing app, and primarily meant for owners of shops, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants. These users (but also private users) would have the option to print a Coronika QR Code with personal information (name of location, name of owner/user, address information) that they can place prominently at the entrance, or onto a table in a restaurant etc., and Coronika users can then quickly scan the QR code with the Coronika app to add the location to the diary.

This would also be a way to make the Coronika app more visible to the public.

Private users could print out their own QR Code, either with minimal info or as a full-fledged vCard, which their contacts can scan (if they want to, and if they have the app; so Coronika would then need support for scanning & parsing the vCard format via QR Code.)

(An alternative would be NFC support.)

Support for GPS-based location input & Apple Maps

Note: I can't test the app yet, because it's not on the iOS App Store, so if this functionality is already implemented, you can close the issue again.

When adding a current location, it would be nice to just use the GPS coordinates, maybe also interface with Apple Maps data, which would yield the address and include an option to select the actual name of the venue, e.g. "Cafe XY".
